Alan Morris is the Senior Partner at
Scotts Holt & Sellars. Alan qualified as a solicitor in
March 1977, and therefore has been dealing with conveyancing
transactions for clients for 30 years.
Alan used to play cricket for Bromsgrove Cricket Club. He
currently enjoys playing golf, and his other hobbies include
walking, cooking and reading.
Alan has always taken an interest in education and was a
Governor at South Bromsgrove School for 12 years.
Andrew Borley studied and obtained a classics degree
at Liverpool University. After half a dozen jobs which did
not hold interest Andrew went back to full-time education
– this time he studied Law at Trent Polytechnic. Andrew
qualified as a solicitor in May 1989, and has dealt with litigation
and employment cases since that time.
Andrew played football for Bromsgrove Corinthians and has
played cricket both for Lye Cricket Club and later for Avoncroft
Cricket Club. Andrew enjoys a game of golf as well as walking,
reading and spending time with his young family.
Jeff Baldwin qualified as a solicitor in 1969, and has
dealt with residential conveyancing since then. He lived and
worked in the Solihull area for almost 30 years before joining
Holt & Sellars in 2001.
Jeff played rugby for Camp Hill and also for Greater Birmingham.
He is still enthusiastic about rugby – and is a Committee
Member of Greater Birmingham and North Midlands R.F.U. Out
of the rugby season Jeff enjoys holiday cruises with his wife
Sue.
Nick Priddey began his working life as a schoolmaster.
He made a career change and qualified as a solicitor in 1984.
Nick was Senior Partner at Holt and Sellars as from 1999
until he became a Consultant to the new firm of Scotts Holt
& Sellars in 2006.
Nick played cricket and hockey for Bromsgrove and still plays
both sports. Nowadays Nick also enjoys watching cricket at
the County Ground in Worcester as well as attending Horse
Racing meetings.
Mr
Martin Gorman qualified in 1962, and therefore has been a
practising solicitor for over 40 years.
Martin became a partner at Scotts in 1966 and Senior Partner
at Scotts in 1989 until becoming a Consultant in May 2005.
Martin played tennis, golf and squash and currently enjoys
walking, cycling, music, snooker and reading.
Martin is a Church Warden at White Ladies Aston as well as
a former Clerk to the Governors and Endowment Trustees of
Bromsgrove School for many years, and is also the Steward
of Bromsgrove Court Leet.
Nic Ackrill joined Scotts in 1977 as a trainee Solicitor.
He has provided and continues to provide advice and assistance
to a wide range of clients on such topics as divorce, separation,
civil partnerships, pre-nuptial agreements, financial negotiations
as to separation, domestic violence and children’s issues.
Nic also deals with civil litigation matters.
Nic enjoys walking and spending holidays with his family
at various diverse places across the world including Alaska,
South Africa, Norway and South East Asia.
Peter Samuels qualified as a solicitor in October 1980.
Peter has worked for firms in Birmingham as well as in Bromsgrove. He joined Scotts in August of 1992. He specialises in both residential and commercial conveyancing.
His major interests are football and cricket, nowadays as a spectator rather than a participant. Peter also enjoys reading and music. |
